On Friday March 27, my dad and I walked in to Trevino Transmission spoke to Pablo Perez he gave us a price of $1500 to remove and replace a valve body with labor included. Perez stated he didn’t have availability till April 6. So my dad took his truck on Monday April 6, mind you he had told my dad they were going to see if it in fact it was the valve body. Perez calls my dad and tells him that it’s going to be $2150 instead of the $1500 he had quoted us. Perez was trying to explain something about the part and the programming which i think is misleading because he should of been transparent with us and told us that the price could change instead of giving a flat rate price then wanted to try and swindle us for more money. Well my dad went and picked up his truck because this man Pablo Perez got hostile with me when I’m explaining what he had originally told me and he didn’t like that I was questioning him about raising the price which I thought was fair because I was paying for the repairs I ask for a price that way I know I have enough within my budget. I had a really great experience with this transmission shop. From the beginning, the team was friendly, professional, and very courteous. They took the time to properly address the issue with my transmission and made sure everything was handled efficiently. After getting my car back, I noticed some oil dripping and was concerned it might be related to the repair. I brought it back in, and they were more than willing to take another look right away. They thoroughly checked everything and showed me that the leak was actually coming from my oil pan, not the transmission. I really appreciated their honesty and transparency. What stood out the most was that they didn’t charge me anything for rechecking the issue. That level of integrity and customer care is hard to find. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing transmission work. Trustworthy, professional, and genuinely helpful!

I have been bringing my vehicles to Rene for over 10 years. ALWAYS the best, ALWAYS the least expensive, ALWAYS on time, ALWAYS courteous, ALWAYS good service. I had my F-350 Crewcab 7.3l Godzilla 4x4 auto transmission fixed before a big trip to Oregon with my 27ft travel trailer. On the trip we had a problem, so I called Rene, he diagnosed the problem ON THE PHONE and told me to put it in 3rd and rock on. We made it to Oregon and back, my recently overhauled engine was reving a little high, and the engine temp was slightly higher than usual (still in the C zone), but it actually made my truck engine break in real nice. When we got back Rene fixed the transmission under warranty and we didn't have another issue with it, trailer hauling and roadtripping all over the US. Rene will treat you well!

This place is a dump. Another shop sent my 4runner there without my knowledge. When I went to pick it up, they left it unlocked, windows down, and key in the ignition. The car was full of El Paso dust. The leather driver's seat was torn. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I took my truck for check up and service all was done well. I had a good experience was told very useful information about my transmission. The customer service was very nice.....Rene gave me a time and didn't disappoint. I would definitely recommend this place.

Best service in the region. They were able to replace my transmission and get me back on the road, very reliable, good communication and great service. Highly recommend and will be returning! Thank you guys !
